Alpengasthaus Stanglalm

Good, fresh food. Well cooked and plentiful. A really delicious lunch with fantastic views. There was a good choice of food and we went for the day's specials. My lamb and potato dish was seasoned just right and was so tasty that I was sorry when I had finished the dish (but I was also rather full) . My partner's sausage dish must have been equally tasty as it was polished off in quick order. On our walk down the Kitbuhel this place was a treat: if passing drop in for a bite with magic views.

Stopped here for lunch while skiing. Restaurant was participating in the tourist bureau dumpling promotion. Had a chance to have a free serving of two large dumplings stuffed with bacon and herbs and served in a delicious broth. Excellent alongside delicious beer! Oh, and the panoramic views of the surrounding mountains isn't bad either!

Outside the old camping chairs are very obsolete with seat cushions. the beautiful panoramic terrace could be more attractive. the mother soup was underworn. the apple, as well as the celestial-poting vortex. Unfortunately, there was spray cream, which was the whole thing. the kakao without taste. the service very nice and flotted.

as a permanent visitor in the ski area St.Johann i.T., I can say very carefully that the stanglalm is the best ski chalet at the place. spears are kept very regional and inexpensive for tirol. personal is totally friendly and funny. who looks like his own. the equipment could be a bit more ure. very good Tyrolean cuisine, friendly service staff and a magnificent panoramic view! the stanglalm is also worth for the short stop.
