Great option for lunch on a slope, next to the beginners ski lift. Hot and cold snacks, mains, soft and alcoholic drinks, soups and more. Served quickly. Personnel very friendly. Prices more than fair: large wienner schnitzel 7 Euro, soft drinks 1 2 Euro, soups 3.50 Euro. Something to eat for everybody.

Beautiful setting. Nice view of the valley. The food however is disappointing. French fries with every dish. Portion sizes are for heavy lifters. Even the kid menu is bigger than normal dishes.

Alpengasthof Bidner is a wonderful place up in the Alps above Lienz. The food and service were great. The staff was really friendly. We are going to come here every time we are in Lienz

Rude staff, when asked a question they yell at you, they pretend to not know English, and they yell at you if you don’t eat quickly enough.
