We stumbled across this restaurant by chance. The food, service and view were spectacular. The restaurant overlooks beautiful snow-capped mountains and has both inside and outside seating. We had the asparagus and salad to start followed by locally caught fish and kerr-spetzle to follow. Portions are perfectly sized (albeit the fish which being locally caught and the time of year was a bit small). The food was fresh and perfect to taste. The spetzle is certainly the BEST we have tasted in Austria or the surrounding countries (and we have sampled it many, many times). The price of the meal was reasonable and the quality just superb. Alpenrose is a beautiful small hotel high above Dornbirn from a very friendly if a little eccentric manager. Hotel views are fantastic. The trip to the hotel is a little frightening on a winding, often single-lane road with scissors drop on both sides, but the trip is worth it. The food is from the restaurant is simple but excellent and the rooms are comfortable. Alpenrose is an excellent place for those seeking peace and tranquility, or those seeking a basis for hiking. There is no business to make sure you have everything you need.
Schon die Anreise über die schmale Straße ist ein Erlebnis. Ebnit ist abgelegen Bergdorf mit überraschend moderner Architektur. Das Hotel Alpenrose passt sich da gut ein, die Zimmer sind modern aber gemütlich und mit tollem Blick. Das Essen war gut, die beiden Betreiberinnen sehr gastfreundlich.Auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert.
Amazing views in the Austrian Alps with a breathtaking road. Hotel newly renovated with a clean design. Our room had a big perspective window with a view of the mountain terrificly wake up. Restaurant, service and breakfast was good. On the negative side the bathroom had no towel holder or space to put the toilet bag!

Eine sehr gute Nachmittagsjause inkl. Kaffee und Kuchen bei einer sehr freunlicher Bedienung und herrlicher Aussicht. Hier kann man so richtig die Seele baumeln lassen. Da zu diesen Zeitpunkt wehnige Gäste anwesend waren, ergab sich eine lustige Runde mit dem gesamten Personal.
Die Alpenrose wurde komplett renoviert. Zudem könnte man auch im Hotel übernachten. Das Bergpanorama ist unschlagbar. Das Essen lecker. Das Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend. Man fühlt sich rundum wohl.Montag und Dienstag ist aber Ruhetag.
Essen sehr gut und preiswert. Zimmer schön eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Frühstück passt ebenfalls sehr gut.Ideal als Basisstation für Wanderurlaub.

Wonderful selection of desserts and drinks. Free wifi was really nice due to poor cellular reception. Tasty, traditional local dishes available.
Wir alle (4 Personen) waren begeistert. Preis-/Leistungs-Verhältnis ist in Ordnung. Der Kellner war höflich und korrekt.
