I have already visited the old linz several times, it is a popular address to drink the one or the other cocktail in the evening. there are also some dishes on the map. something of the spagat between snack kitchen and restaurant is tried. once the currywurst has eaten with fritten, I was very satisfied but as said the old linz is (at least in the evening) first line the address for cocktails. Unfortunately, the quality of beverages is gradually growing, it was already before that you get nothing more because there is no more ice, which is very frustrating. in the rule are the cocktails but tasty, are brought timely and are generally priced in the frame. da ambiente is very modern and harmonizes well with the bright wood of the old building. what disturbs me is the very bright cold white lighting everywhere. I'm not a friend of this sitting in grelle light while I'm going to have a drink in the evening. but is taste and not critique. the service is practiced and usually friendly. all in all one of the better lincer local.

we were there twice in our holiday - the second time a mistake. at the first occasion (on a Monday) we were pampered with an excellent curry sausage and a fast service from a helpful waiter and a very good cook (younger kerl with horsetail) who produced a great dish with food and an excellent salad. the second time (one Wednesday) the waiter rushed around and was unorganized. it took 30 minutes to receive our order, and then 1 hour and 16 minutes until the food came - another cook and really average eating that I could produce at home. no pre-warning and no apologies for the late service. the spazli was very bad - I had better fresh from lidl. disappointed after a great first visit.

linz is a wonderful old German city with many shops and caffes in which they can spend their time. there is a fabulous glass museum where you can buy glass pieces made on the ground.

only we ordered drinks when we wanted to order food, it was suddenly the mushrooms are empty. since every 3rd court with mushrooms came our entire order not concluded
