Everything was fantastic! Our waiter was prompt, knowledgeable, and very attentive. He recommended the captivating dish and the bomboloni (I hope that’s the right name), and he was spot on both times. We ordered 2 appetizers, 3 main courses (with upgrades and sides), one dessert, and 4 bottles of water, and the total came to about $160. Considering the price, the portions were incredibly generous, and the food was excellent. They even helped me celebrate my birthday, and all the staff wished me well on my special day. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend it to our friends!
Anniversary dinner with our children. Everything was amazing. Food was outstanding, service was outstanding and the chef was very accommodating for the children’s requests and modifications. The fettuccine was the best pasta dish I’ve ever had. Everyone else enjoyed their meals as well (calamari, shrimp scampi, spaghetti and meatballs, pasta divalo (sp? . It was an amazing experience. This is a vibrant restaurant offering delicious food. The tiger shrimp were exceptional, featuring a delightful spicy kick. The arugula salad was perfect for sharing among the three of us. Both the wild boar pasta and the mushroom and squash pastas were fantastic. Don't forget to end your meal with an espresso martini!
We enjoyed drinks and dinner during our family trip to Washington, D.C. The drinks were well-crafted, and the food was outstanding. As usual, Alta Strada didn't disappoint. You can't eat atmosphere, but a welcoming, friendly, caring staff that clearly wants to please enhances the pleasure of fresh, well prepared and well paced food, at a very fair price. Generous portions, as usual, provided next day's lunch.
