Alte Post Restaurant Mit Gastehaus

we hoped to find a beautiful regional restaurant along the promenade for lunch. Although the prices are reasonable and the menu offers a reasonable variety, I was quite underwhelmed. it was really very average that look and the feeling of the restaurant rather dated and...an or other loud confrontation between the employees has not at all added to the ambiente. it was okay, but we wouldn't go back soon and find it not worth recommending to others.

Very friendly and quick service, outside seating with sun and view of the lake Bodensee. Prices okay, but if a markup for the lakefront. Had the fish platter with potatoes: nicely done, tasty, a recommendation. Overall good experience; imagine the restaurants along the promenade are...quite similar though. Eating here definitely not the wrong choice.

Few days ago we was in meersburg to visit friends. The little city is really good and full of tourist. We decided to eat in this restaurant because it was near the lake.. The woman has been really kindly with a fast service. The food...for the children was good but for us, the ration was not enough. The fish was without any taste.

The Alte Post Restaurant is a great Place to enjoy lunch while sitting in the sun and enjoying a breeze off the lake. Service was good though perhaps a little slow. I ordered the white fish, with potatoes. It came covered in almond slices. It...was quite delicious. My dining companion enjoyed the chicken schnitzel, with frites.

If you are looking for a restaurant with good food, service and view than you are at the right spot. It is definitely not a gourmet restaurant but good food at an acceptable price. I guess the majority is convenience food. Located directly at the...shore with excellent view. Inside is old fashioned. Service is good.
