we happened to be on this restaurant. we booked a place in mosbach and planned to see heidelberg the next day. we arrived late and the restaurant recommended by our hosts was already closed, but this was a half block further. we saw a menu and a plaque on which stood that the famous poet goethe had stayed there. went to the door to look, and she was open. open until midnight. we have lived in Germany for 4 years and had returned to Germany for a holiday, so we have eaten a lot of German food from everywhere and I promise you this food was fantastic! ! huge portions and very friendly and English-speaking arta waited for us. She was on the college and wanted to become annoyed. she helped us choose and I had the mailchange carving. it had melted cheese and then a tomato sauce over it, but creamy, as if it were 1/2 marinara sauce and maybe 1/2 sour cream. After we returned to home, I ran it online and it seems that there are several ways to prepare this dish, but all 4 people in our group had great eating, but they liked mine best and the portions were so big that I couldn't eat all of me, even with all this? help from our group.It was soou good! I have probably at least a thousand mischievous in my life and that was by far the best!!! come again next year. warm gratitude to manfred gregor for setting up the great cook and the waitress! ! I believe the total price for my was 10 euro, which is worth a! !

delicious food, large portions, friendly service. well-padded pizzas, well-made salad. known for the large carving and cordon bleu, which is also available as a small portion. the small variants are usually sufficient for normal hunger. There are only balcony plates on weekends!Oft very full, even under week. Sometimes smoke swaths move from the next room (= smoker room) to the local. that is not so beautiful....In total highly recommended!

so far it was always delicious. we're not talking about any haute cuisine here. we have been eating in large groups and never before came a complaint.In the weekend I would reserve in any case, as always very well visited. the carvings are all simply classy at an unbeatable price.
