It is no longer necessary to search the old garden for the Navi Klein Reken, a part of Reken, in the western Münsterland in the northwest of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. Parking is abundant on both sides of the village road. Lunchtime, sunshine, the terrace is coveted, and over an hour they flew, the seniors in their limousines, partly well dressed, partly apprehended, partly with suspended camera, sandals, woollen socks or foot cams, and mixed with ads from the local construction market against the sun on the otherwise stealing main so colorful. The service outside was very friendly and binding, and the menu was quickly served, the drinks ordered. The map offered quite a wide selection of fish and fresh asparagus from Münsterland anyway. We once ordered catfish, once weed fillet. A fresh, tasty salad and then good asparagus cream soup were not necessary at first. The main square was served with salt potatoes to a well-maintained place and with roasted roasted roast potatoes. The dessert (the poor knight) came back for free. Conclusion: grounded German cuisine, at the food there was nothing to complain, the fish crispy outside, juicy inside as you wish. Nothing exciting on the record of reindeer hint like it.
Varied good bourgeois cuisine. Very nice service. Good value for money. A pleasant atmosphere prevails in the cozy rooms of different sizes. In summer you can dine wonderfully in the garden. Among the spectators are, above all, many older dominations, apparently regular audiences, which also signals that one can adjust to a consistently good quality here. Certainly nothing for people who prefer a star kitchen or chic dishes. Nevertheless high quality in a beautiful atmosphere. Unfortunately Sundays often very full. In the toilet area, it smells somewhat strict, which is probably due to the tendency of people, but not to the lack of hygiene, because the entire restaurant is very clean. The staff is very attentive. You never have to wait long for drinks or food. I was often there and was never disappointed so I can only recommend the restaurant
What I can recommend in the old garden is Sunday with the cross and cross offer. Cross and Cross offers the opportunity to try smaller portions via a preselected card. One starts with one of the most important courses, runs with another main course, tastes a starter, closes with a dessert and thinks it again differently and eats a starter/dessert/main meal, whatever you want. A great way to try something else you wouldn't order. All for 19 EUR.
