It was one of the first warm days of spring when we were there and also Easter Monday so the restaurant was quite busy at lunch time. While we enjoyed our beer at the outdoor tables overlooking the Rhine, and perused the menu, we saw...many dishes go by to other tables. They were huge servings of everything. My wife and I ended up splitting an order bratwurst and sauerkraut with a side of spatzle. There was more than enough for of us. Everything was delicious. We were defeated by the crowds at our first attempt to get close on a warm summer's evening but managed to get in for lunch a couple of days later. Strangely we found no disabled parking bays in the vicinity. The setting by the river is lovely, and the place was deservedly busy with people having a good time. The food was good- typical German- and the service especially friendly.

CASH ONLY BAR. A cracking little find, right on the river and a few mins walk from the museum. Great choice of beers, even better choice of cocktails and really tasty, this place is a great place to relax in the sun, watching the barges...pass by a d the planes fly overhead from the local airport. But bring cash. They'd have received FIVE stars if they at least accepted Maestro.

A relaxed place on the river. Drinking a heffe while watching the passenger boats. This is a typical bavarian yard, like the one in front of the main church, but on the river. Of course you are still in renania palatine state, so if you...want to drink riesling, you can get a good one, and as usual in Germany, food is rather cheap and quality high. I would return...

Delicious ethnic dishes and beer we had during our stay in Germany. Located right on the Rhine river so that added to the experience. Everyone agreed it was the best food and beer they had during our stay in Germany. The waitress was delightful and...the prices were good. Can't wait to head back there again on our next visit.

This is a traditional German restaurant and is overlooking the Rhine in the area where the river cruise boats dock. They offer a variety of meals and they are huge portions. My wife I should have shared. The food is delicious.

Everything a burger should be. Great atmosphere, service and food. We are definitely coming back when it's summer and the beer garden opens. Highly recommend!

Nice traditional german food, good beer and a lovely location next to the Rhein. Service was good and prices were fair. Will come again!

Stopped here for a cold drink and ice cream. Very pleasant and staff friendly. We just sat and people watch.
