we stopped here on a day in juli on our trip through bayern for lunch. we were walking with one of the mountain railways. it was a really hot day 30 c (90 f) and we were looking for a place to lunch without going down to the lake. several places were closed as it was outside the lunch break and before dinner. the terrace is located outside the main street. they served only the lunch outside on the terrace and we could find a table in the shade of a baumes. there was only 1 waitress for the entire terrace and there should have been 2. I am vegan (vegetarian, no eggs, no dairy) and we saw a suspended menu with several vegetarian options. Unfortunately, they were not for the lunch menu. Besides...

came here on a Saturday night and the terrace was full as it was a sunny day. only two services - not enough for so many people. it took a long time to be served... and many of the tables complained about being ignored. finally it came to eat - and my steak was not medium - it was well done, so I sent it back. my friend didn't taste it either, and my kartoffels and sauce weren't very good either. I think the problem here is that there is not enough personal.

very beautiful gasthof. very accommodating. very friendly staff. in any case recommend. room: spacious and clean. rustic, as they expect from a hospitable. the bathroom looks very nice and modern and is very clean. food drinks: in the gasthof itself they can eat. there is also something to eat in the closer environment. German restaurant in old style. good traditional German eating and excellent beer, friendly service by some veterans and extremely efficient waitresses. as usual to bring cash and something German, credit cards and English home. when we were there, an Oompah band recommended to the guests. €46 for 3!!
