I went here for Christmas Eve eve happy hour with a bunch of buddies. Cool vibes but was surprised to see babies with families at a bar/brewery. Ordered a flight of 4 and all beers were good, then stuck with a beer that was good. Old fashioned was good,avoid the old fashioned on tap, sweet af. For appetizers, ordered the Thai chili wings 4/5, meatballs 3/5 and spinach artichokeDetroit style pizza 4/5. Pizza felt deep fried, good but mad oily. Ordered goat cheese burger for meal, burger was aight, butwas salty, fries were burnt. 2/5. They had only 1 tv to watch football, could use additional TVs , they have a big screen tv ina room, but didn’t allow us to sit there. All in all good experience...
We had the most wonderful event at Alternate Ending for our cousins 50th. Emily was patient, respectful, and helpful every step of the way. Everyone the night of our event was friendly and helpful as well, particularly hard working Eric who ran drinks allnight and Anthony who helped make sure we were set up on the tech end and oversaw a great party! Renting the movie theater roomupped our party to the next level and I cannot recommend this enough. The pizza and salad package was perfect and the food wasdelicious. If you want a movie themed night with tons of space with a professional and fabulous feel I can’t recommendAlternate Ending enough!!
Fantastic food, with an extremely clever atmosphere and recipes. The cheese curds with the hot honey were amazing, so were the Elote fries, (Mexican street corn on fries is a clever and amazing food concept). The burger was simple and very tasty, and thebeekeeper honey pizza was delicious. Lastly, the Pumpkin rice pudding was out of this world. Will definitely be coming back!!!

Great atmosphere superior service and absolutely not a bad beer on the menu. I even picked up a few knick knacks at their gift area and I'm looking forward to my return.

It’s hipster bar food. Their Detroit-style pizza was awesome. The group that I went with enjoyed their beer and cocktails. The place was filled with people the atmosphere is very lively. Felt like I was at some bar in Brooklyn. A great addition to thearea. If you are not local to the area it's worth the drive.
The pizza was good, but a bit unusual. I'm not a huge fan of Detroit-style pizza, as it had more crust than cheese and toppings. The selection of beers was even stranger. Can't these craft breweries offer at least a few standard beers instead of just all these fruity, experimental options?
This is the best vegan burger I have ever tried! The restaurant offers a variety of delicious options such as pretzels with vegan beer cheese, vegan Caesar salad, and pizza. They also have fantastic beer and a fun atmosphere.

I was thrilled to discover that there are now new vegan options available in Matawan! The food and atmosphere were fantastic, and this restaurant definitely deserves our support.
The pizza is absolutely delicious! I highly recommend trying the vegan and gluten-free options. Sarah is an excellent server as well.
