Altitude La Toura

We have a place in L2A so have skied here a lot for last couple of seasons Wasn’t a fan of the Restuarant at Toura, not because of the food, the food is great, but I found the staff quite grumpy I’ve realised that the proprietor (Patric je pense? is just one of those stoic mountain men and is actually quite pleasant and if you avoid the Restuarant at peak when they are all stressed to hell, it’s great Particularly like Galadriel, she’s good fun

Great mountain restaurant. Stopped for a drink and a snack. Food was excellent and represented good value for money. We ordered a cheese and meat plater and large fries and there was enough to feed a family of four. Lots of cheese and baskets of rustic bread. Service was quick and friendly. We sat outside on the sunny terrace. Great views and toilets up some outdoor steps.

As soon as we arrived staff seemed distant. We were seated and waited for over 30 minutes, we repeatedly asked to be served but nothing was happening. Others were being served before. We left. Go to the burger and pizza place next door, there was far quicker and more pleasant service. It doesn’t cost 20 euro for a pizza.

Good food, lovely location, however, a shame about the rudeness of one of the staff. We had a delightful member of staff the first day we visited but unfortunately on a second visit were ignored for 30mins when seeking out a waitress were made to feel unwelcome.

Ate here a few times last week Food pretty good still Service decent Felt more expensive (to be expected I guess) Think the new bar deck and umbrella bar is great
