Alto Plaza - Reservar una mesa

Restaurant looked very nice. Was not busy when we arrived. Menu's were hard to read as they were all scratched up. Selection was somewhat limited. Prices were average for the items. 3 ordered the enchiladas and said they were very good. 1 ordered the fajitas. Didn't know the waiter had arrived as there was no sizzling plate. The meat was done and there were some grilled onions but that was it. All plates came with either charro or black beans which were good. They also come with rice which was dry from being overcooked. Service was a bit on the slow side once the meals arrived. Had to wait a while for the waiter to come back so we could order coffee. And again for the check.

I have eaten here several times and the experience is always the same. The food is good, but the service is usually lacking. As other reviewers have noted, it can take a long time for drinks to be served. That is probably my biggest complaint. The wait for the delivery of the entree dishes is fine, in my opinion. (I hate when I go to a Mexico restaurant and my entree is served five minutes after I order it. They simplified the menu since my last visit and I like that. Most Mexican restaurants give you 74 entree choices that's too many. I highly recommend the Carne Asada it's a big plate of steak and melted cheese. Yum!

The food was below average and the service was terrible. The restaurant appears better from the outside. When I mentioned to our server that the service was unacceptable, he told me there were only two servers working on Cinco de Mayo, which also happened to be my sister’s birthday. She ended up leaving in tears, saying we ruined her birthday by bringing her there. We won’t be coming back!

sub par food paired with terrible service. outdated restaurant. looks better from outside. After he let our server know that the service was terrible, he informed me that there were only two servers working on cinco de mayo that also happened to my birthday. she let the restaurant drink and told us that we ruined her birthday because we were here. never again!

I wouldn't recommend dining here unless you have around three hours to spare for your meal. The service was quite poor. We had one server who never returned, and then another random server appeared to take over. It was really confusing.

The food at Alto Plaza is quite delicious, but over the past year, the service has significantly slowed down. They offer a nice variety of Latin cuisine beyond just Mexican dishes.

don't go here unless you have about 3 hours for your whole meal. the service was terrible. we had a server that never came back and then showed up a fall. that doesn't make sense.

eating in alto plaza is quite good, but the last year or so the service was very slow. but they have a nice mix of latin food instead of mexican.

Always have a good meal and good service. Have been several times and never disappointed. Also never feel rushed. Excellent staff.
