this place is already quite a lot, since moses has shared the red sea, but he has recently reopened under new ownership and new name. to my crossing the bar has lost little of its old time, Stühlinger-Charm, while at the same time much cleaner and also more spacious after the interior was new. there is a huge selection of beer, the chocolate porter is one of the popular yet-exotic drinks on tap and I am glad to say that it tastes much better than it sounds!

Went here late at night on a Friday. The place was full but we were lucky enough to get a table. The bartender spoke English and gave good drink recommendations. The location is near a theatre so a large part of the clientele was the cultured sort and there's potential to overhear some fun conversations. The wait staff was polite and friendly. The overall vibe of the place is fun, friendly and not too loud.

Cool place for beers and friends. Beer selection changes and has more variety than most pubs in town. Live music on occasion. Smoky all the time. I imagine this place is ideal for the standard Stammtisch or just a bunch of folks socializing the ol' fashioned way. If there is live music it can get hoppin'. As far as I know the food options are a bag of peanuts or the Dönerladen down the way.

Nice place for a date or drinks with friends . The atmosphere and the attention are quite good. Looses one star for me because you can't pay with card and they allow people to smoke inside. Other than that is great. Super extensive beer offering and solid cocktails. Reserva una mesa ahora

beautiful place to drink an evening. - good choice of drinks especially beer. you can get an impression of a good and friendly atmosphere here, but note that the air inside is smoker friendly. enjoy their visit!

The best BAR in Freiburg! Very good music, nice atmosphere, terrace excellent, in súper! And the jewell, Camil! Please go and discover him...and the place!

the beer list is minimalist, but often changing and shows the beaten away beer from crafts or private brewery. interesting and friendly bar hands.
