caught the cable car at a very hot summer afternoon to see the monument. so it was a relief to be able to sit under the huge sunshades to chill and dessert. I had the scresin forest cup (which consists of in schnapps inlaid cherry, cherry, chocolate, ice and cream) and my wife had tiramisu. we had tassen hot chocolate. the waiter languages fluent English. I actually thought our waiter was American, but he turned out to be German and was moderator of one of the children's shows on nickelodeon. I should have asked for his autograph! Anyway, the deserts were extraordinary. the toilets were clean and were supervised by a cleansing power - there was an honesty court for their 50-cent payment. and...
decided to go uphill from rudesheim to escape the puppies, because of the beautiful autumn weather they were plentiful 'downtown'. in the far-away saw a house that one with runner told me was a restaurant. a gentle 45-minute walk, with moderate altitudes,...through rolling weinberge brought me here. the selection of food is very good, there is a bar to take along and a seat in and outside the restaurants. I thought the prices were appropriate for the location fantastic panoramic view of the Rhine and neighboring villages and cities. the personal was pleasant and eating is locally produced and there is a very diverse menu. all in all, a beautiful experience worth the ascent.
we came at the top of the hill with the gondola, just as it began to rain. to the happiness was the restaurant at the perfect location for both of us to enjoy the view, stay out of the rain and get (other) glass riesling. a little...not organized to get a table. could be because the place was packed with a high-time celebration waiting for the rain to stop so they could go outside to make photos. we managed to get a table after a bed and were served with great attention. I didn't try to eat.
we sit here and are thrilled by friendly service, delicious food and a breathtaking view. this newly renovated tourist attraction also has a brand new team. the prices are very reasonable, but remember that it is the second most visited attraction in Germany, not its ice cream in the neighbourhood.

I would not recommend this hotel, as the basic people are missing to talk to their customers and especially with women. this place embodies a tourist trap, because there is nothing else at the same place. eating was quite below average and I wouldn't visit it again.
if they have the opportunity to eat here in rüdesheim, this is an excellent atmosphere with excellent eating and an incredible panorama. professional service ... mastery kitchen. I recommend the restaurant from the bottom. "I'll come back"
it is already a past that we have visited the low forest and this restaurant is new and looks as if it has a great view of the river below. coffee costs 3 € with 3 € pand and many people who do not speak German get 6 € for the coffee.
after a visit of the monument and a forest walk past here, very hot, so I ordered 2 animals that cost almost 14 euro. beautiful, but I felt costly, as a caffe that we visited yesterday at the Rhine has calculated less than half?

we were here for a coffee and a beer, a beautiful view area and everything was clean and tidy. we drove with the cable car to get here what was worth the trip.
arrogant and fun at my daughters when they and I asked a simple icy and two glasses wein. was fun when we were gone. bad for families!
