We ate at Am Stifstor twice this last weekend. There are not many restaurants in Treis-Karden where we were and the restaurant in our hotel was closed. The first night we ate out on the little terrace which is a cool spot. The second time we at inside. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals both nights and the service was good too. I would recommed Am Stifstor.

We had a lovely meal here and would highly recommend it. The service was exceptional. The decor is charming and it is conveniently located. It was the restaurant recommended by our Gasthaus proprietors at Alte Weinstrube
Excellent food, large menu, food freshly made to order. Typical German restaurant which has kept its beautiful old decor. Well worth a visit. Plenty parking and not necessary to pre-book.
