Amapola - Reservar una mesa

We visited this restaurant several years ago and had a great set menu. This time we stayed at the hotel to visit the restaurant to break a journey back south. We again opted for the set menu,all in all rather uninspiring and no choice of dessert which I find very unusual. Disappointing, perhaps a different chef,certainly not the same as the person who thought this was Michelin status,or perhaps he dosnt do food like ourselves.

A lovely place with beautiful surroundings. This was a group outing at the end of the season. After the meal there was music and dancing, and the owner joined in with the dancing . All in all a very nice experience.

The nearest thing you will get to fine dining in Puerto Mazarrón. Nice surroundings, good service, good menu and good food. Not the cheapest but well worth going for a special occasion.

Found the food very disappointing. We went to try the food with the thought of holding a private party there. Food is not what it use to be.
