As a Windsorite visiting Toronto, I had to check out Ambassador Pizza to see for myself how Windsor-style pizza holds up in the city. From the very first bite, I experienced a wave of nostalgia and a true sense of home. The sweet tomato sauce, classic shredded pepperoni (which is perfect for ensuring there’s pepperoni in every bite without the greasy cups), the stretchy Galati cheese, and the canned mushrooms (which are used because fresh mushrooms tend to dry out and burn) all reminded me of family dinners on Friday nights. I've tried dining in, takeout, as well as frozen gluten-free and regular pizzas from this restaurant, and I can confidently say that you can't go wrong with any of them—though I haven't yet tried the vegan cheese. As a regular at the Tavern, I enjoy having a drink while watching sports, participating in karaoke, open mic nights, and trivia games, all while indulging in their delicious TBQ ribs. I must mention that it's my top choice for pizza! If you're in Toronto and craving Windsor-style pizza, this is the place to go.

As a former resident of Windsor, now living in Burlington, I can confirm the authenticity of this pizza. It arrived piping hot, looked genuine, and tasted fantastic—just like Windsor pizza should. I just had an incredible meal at this restaurant. The "Ambassador pizza" is a true culinary masterpiece! The high-quality toppings paired with the crispy yet chewy crust create a delightful combination of flavors. As someone who grew up in Essex County I really appreciate the shredded pepperoni, that special cheese and that cornmeal on the crust. This pizza tastes just like Naples/bullseye back in Windsor, IYKYK. Great pie, without the nostalgia value. Good size forthe cost compared to other gourmet pizzas.

Ordered pizza first time but it was burnt. But Gaetano worked extra hard to fix that. They made me a fresh batch free of cost. And the pizza was remarkable It tasted even better because the service is phenomenal. I will keep going back even though it’s almost an hour away from me.

I visited this restaurant on New Year's Eve and had a fantastic experience. The staff provided excellent service, and the prices for the tacos were very reasonable. I will definitely return in the new year! They really made the night enjoyable.

The pizza is ok. Better than the average Toronto pizza, there is a strong seasoning taste that I didnt like, possibly garlic. A bit overpowering. I'm from Windsor so the pizza is similar but not quite there. Staff was great ? Reserva una mesa ahora

It's good. Slice is giant. But to be honest $10 is outrageous for one slice of pizza. I wonder if they sell a lot of slices. They must be making a killing charging $10 for one slice.
