Ambeli Greek Taverna

I’m a bit frustrated that I can only leave one review for Ambeli, as we dine here regularly and they are absolutely fantastic! This place is genuinely the real deal—Greek owned and operated with amazing food. They even feature live music on certain nights. Treat yourself to a wonderful dinner at Ambeli, and don’t forget to bring some friends along!

Overall, the food is quite delicious, but I found the prices for the main dishes to be quite high compared to their quality. I might just not be a fan of the vegetarian moussaka, as it mostly consisted of potatoes and béchamel, with very little eggplant or zucchini. I didn’t feel it was worth over $20.

I really enjoy their food, but I have to mention that, considering inflation and labor challenges, the prices feel excessively high. For instance, $15 for a 4-ounce cheese appetizer and $10 for half a boiled potato are a bit outrageous. Sorry, Chris!

Since I am not that familiar with Greek food I ordered a Gyro platter (which is all I know) and it was really delicious! The portion was huge. The server was very pleasant and answered all of our questions. I will definitely be returning. Reserva una mesa ahora

Experienced food poisoning from their jumbo shrimp spaghetti dish on Friday night. I tried to speak with the manager three times since and have not received a call back, so I'm leaving this review. No consideration for customers.

The Pork Souvlaki Platter was so tender and fresh. The Feta Saganaki was luscious and sweet topped with honey. We will definitely order again!

I was hoping for a really delicious moussaka because this is a Greek restaurant, but this wasnt that good. Ive had better moussaka in diners.
