We have been go here for many years. The owners have changed but still go there for the best burgers, food and best coffee. Great service, great people. We were there today and a couple of days ago. Going hopefully at weekend to sample their...truly great burgers. I have only been into trip advisor since June so I am now reviewing to great places to visit. I came here for Saturday lunch and sat outside. I was given a menu, made my selection and when the waiter finally came, was told that what I’d chosen (a salad) was not available. So I assumed all salads were off only to see others...have salads. Oh well! I went for a burger instead. It was good. The products used are all local. So I wish this place well. Good selection of Belgian beers.
We stumbled across this treasure during our exploration of beautiful Houlgate. Moules with Roquefort sauce were on the menu and they did not disappoint! I had the most amazing chicken burger which had the most amazing flavours and salads. Loved it ! Staff were more...than friendly be it was just a lovely place to eat!
Antique decor for a convivial, friendly place. Very good, generous and inventive cuisine. Everything is homemade to the minute. The chef takes pleasure in treating us. The owner is welcoming and the smiling staff know how to take care of you. What a pleasant surprise in Houlgate. I'll be back...

This place seemed to have a good variety on offer plus a good set lunch deal. You could sit inside or outside and service was quick and food was tasty and hot. Good beer menu if I was ever going back and stop off here...again.
We ate here twice on our holiday. The service was great and the food lovely. The mussels were lovely, the "Normande"was my favourite. The kids burgers were home made and very good. Not expensive and definitely worth a visit.
You will feel at home ! And they have great food (Le Camendouille is an excellent recommendation). Don't come to Houlgate without experiencing this extraordinary atmosphere. Love again to the owner and staff for hosting us!
Pleasant place for a lunchtime half. This is where local people sit around to chat, read the paper or catch up with work.
