the ambräusianum, the only restaurant brewery bambergs, is located on the sandy road in the middle of the old town and is therefore often visited by tourist. the interiors are very generous, but it is not always easy to find a place. the facility is really original and also the offer of food is usually traditional Franconian. Of course, this is also interesting here: the ambräusianum has three own beers in the offer (light, dark, amber wheat – for undecided as “beer sample” all three beers can be tasted simultaneously in small glasses) as well as seasonal bock beer, double block and sandkerwa hard beer. who wants to visit the non-French country and offer something franconian, is well-resolve...
Located amid one of Bamberg's busier pedestrianized streets, this is an atmospheric and sprawling and beerhall (across the street from the world famous and always packed Schlenkerla). Ambrausianum makes for a great fallback in the event that you are intimidated by those crowds. Grab...a table and go for their Bierprob, which is a taster of all three house beers. These were pretty good, as was the hearty German grub; I tried the flammenkuch, a German style flatbread pizza. Decent service as well. Honestly, Bamberg is one of Germany's most beautiful cities and should not be missed.
What a lovely place to sit and watch the world go by as you eat the typically Franconian Food served here, the portions are large and the quality is fantastic. Try the Pork Shoulder, it’s really is fantastic, probably the best crackling I have ever...tasted. Beer is brewed here and is delicious, the Staff are very helpful and friendly and the prices are very good. Well worth a visit.

After we had certainly searched for a place on 7 other farms and we came like josef and maria who had knocked at each house and had no accommodation, so we did! we have no table for them yet! ... has addressed us lukas and made one table clear! super nice entertainment also with the cook. eat very delicious. very delicious! we will be coming back

we had just arrived in the city and sat down to have beer. but with all the tourist it quickly filled and we have dinner there too. nice to sit outside and see the world over. Eat and drinks were great.
very beautiful Franconian brewery/restaurant/inn. it is the latest of all breweries in bamberg. it offers beautiful open atmosphere in the interior with views of brew.
so full. but eating was great! the filled bevel, the bark and the sausage ordered. very tasty. service was good. you have to get used to flag.
