The cakes here are consistently stale. Every time I've bought one, it has tasted old. Some even seem to have cash sticking to them, which is quite bizarre. The strawberries taste fermented, almost like they've taken on an alcoholic flavor. It's alarming how old everything seems. When I asked the cashier when the cake was made, she consistently replied “this morning,” which feels dishonest. They don’t even offer discounts on stale products. If nobody is purchasing your cakes, you should throw them away instead of leaving them on display all week at full price. Are you running a business or what?! It's okay. I recently went to buy a red velvet birthday cake. The cake was quite dense and definitely wasn't the best. We struggled to finish it all. It lacked moisture and fluffiness. However, the cream cheese frosting was really good, which saved it. The cake itself looked beautiful, and I loved its appearance.
This is my favourite bakery! The service is great, they all work so hard! Every pastry I've tried has been so tasty. It's my go-to spot for treats. I got my birthday cake here and had no problem finishing it! Their baklavas are so delicious, I seriously can't say enough good things, go get some sweets y'all!!
