Ambrosia Zum Bootshaus

We are now going to the boat house (Ambrosia) since Georgis took over the restaurant with his family in 2012 and since then. On the map that has the right size, there is something for everyone. Changes to the dishes are not a topic, there are also not only classical Greek but also Rumpsteak with fries and herbal butter or just Wiener Schnitzel with lemon. Kitchen works great when it lasts longer because operation is not possible to do anything (rare), but definitely comes to bridge Knobibrot to the main dish. Service without objections, briefly lifted the hand already someone is there. Greatly managed family business, more so!!!!

The staff is very friendly and attentive. The dishes, however, anything but good! The best was the Ouzu at the end. We had garlic bread and peperoni, both very, very salty and the served Tsaziki was just a quark, had not much to do with Tsaziki. The main food from my husband was with sauce, clearly a finished sauce and not really a good one. My lamb for 17€ included 4 tiny pieces of meat. These were cooked beyond the point, tastefully ok, but rich is different. Too bad, we wanted to try something new, have come because of the positive reviews, but will not come again!

Whatever you order. In Ambrosia every dish is based on good products and is really good and prepared on the point. The team is always very warm and children are very welcome. We are always offered an ouzo at the end, the children are often children's schnapps: we have celebrated several family festivals here. For many people it is recommended to preorder dishes with fish meat and the supplements. The location is ideal with children. If they don't want to sit anymore, they have plenty of traffic-free exit. Also very convenient for a digestive walk.

We were the first to eat in the boathouse and were delighted by the dishes. That we had a nice view of the Altrhein at the same time, made the evening even more pleasant
