we made a roadtrip with our rv (camping-car, camper) this weekend around the lake ofannecy. We stopped for lunch in this restaurant. As soon as we entered the restaurant, we thought we were back in our beloved United States. This place is great, the sexy jupon dress staff, a fast service and the servers had a good American accent and spoke English! Bravo girl! the bathrooms are clean (not always in france) and the food .... wow the maxi burger of 560 grams is a quality "do not miss this burger". also on the menu of state drinks, good cocktails. continue your good work, a bit of usa in france, thank you very much!
we stopped here at a stage of the tour de france and we just imagined a hamburger of a certain description. the decoration was fantastic, the buzz inside was great, a true flavor of the america. the waitresses were all dressed in period clothing, in the perfect set on this front. food was tasty even if a little bit small on the size of the servings but well cooked. The problem we had was flies! I know it's hard to control them and usually it doesn't worry me, but it's discouraging you when you try to eat and you land constantly on everything. If they solve this little problem, the place would be fantastic.
four of us had dinner at halloween night....big atmosphere with hard working staff eating was not great but was expensive for what we got....a meal was sent back twice! good choice of drinks...with/out alcohol and good choice of whispering it was a busy evening. but the presentation and content of the food was bad....and was overtaken, I think of newer gourmetburger cans. that is a scandal as his funny peculiarity.
We heard about this place thanks to the French TV show "the returned" but you don't need to have seen it to enjoy this excellent American dinner in the 1950s style. Elvis music, American registration plates and comfortable cabins are just some of the things that create a truly American atmosphere. food and service are great too! If you are in the corner, you must absolutely visit this restaurant!

the main reason for our visit to "american diner" was the TV show "the returned" (returns) in which this restaurant appears frequently. the look is the same as in the series and the style is typically for the 1950s in the United States. the quality of hamburgers with fresh vegetables is exceptional and they also offer a special hamburger "the returner" menu in honor of the TV show.
I loved the decoration of this place and there is a great atmosphere. food is like one can expect from a american dinner and they even have some bitterly imported sauces, just to add to their American theme. I was disappointed with my entry, ordered onion washers - 5 small onion washers arrived with 2 dips, I imagined there would be a few more. but overall, a fairly good experience
I took the cesar salad. there is a large amount of processed green salat, 2 kirsch tomaten, 1 poached ei, 5 small pieces huhn and voila. and costs 14 euro. the egg and the 2 cherry tomatoes were the best part of the...salad the rest was tasteless. I will certainly not return to this place.
We accidentally went to this place and thought it looked very cool, so we decided to stop. The interior is simply amazing, the decoration is superb and there are many things going on, live music, salsa evenings, etc. the food was good but not exceptional. But it's really worth the detour,

This restaurant is a joke. except for decoration, nothing looks like my country and a dinner. fries may be fresh but cold, bacon is useless and steak is not juicy but juice. the owner thinks he can find oil under his feet. If you want to stay safe, go.
