I'm a jersey girl, who doesn't love a diner? Like any other diner, crowded, loud, quick step, wonderful coughing staff and ingenious diner food. Corned beef hash and eggs for the man, his favorite. He loved every bite, but he wished that the hash brown well made French toast and bacon-bacon was crispy and salty as it should be, and the French toast was perfectly moist on the inside and cooked perfectly suck on the outside coffee, I like it never, but I always get it, cuz ya just do I diner food.
Wonderful ambiance, truly a classic diner. Friendly staff, very focused on customer service. The meal was fabulous, I went with their lasagna, salad and soup. All were plentiful and delicious. Being a windy and cooler weather the soup did the trick, hot, fresh and very tasty. The lasagna was good, some of the noodles were a bit hard but that comes with placing the portion in a plate and then back in the oven to finish it off. Definitely a wonderful visit, I will return.
The parking lot was very busy so I thought it would wait. But when we left, we sat right away. I asked to wait for my chocolate milk to be dark and he delivered! It was prefect. We both have the same for our meals. That was the Americana breakfast. The omelet had 3 meats and cheeses in the middle. Just delicious and came with one side of Butter Toast. The only thing that lacked taste was potatoes. But apart from that, I was happy here for many meals.
I had some of the best strawberry-filled pancakes I've ever eaten. Note IHOP is good, but (I'm sorry) Americana is better. You have to jump in and see what I mean. The staff? You're really great. He made me comfortable and filled. Oh, God, almost forget. Your ABI is so good. Just be stupid to ask them to use ice chips. No regret. None. Enough now. Who knows where to go next. Any suggestions?
