We had been here as a couple twice before and had great food and service experiences. So we invited friends to try dinner here with us. I oSummary; didn't work out well. We were greeted and seated nicely. The daily specials were described (without prices, which always makes me cautious) to us, water poured, and wine ordered. So far so good. Then we tried to order a pizza as an appy for the table. Sorry, the chef prefers that you order everything at once. Fewer chits and it let's him stage the orders better. I've been here twice in the last week! Hidden gem of Vancouver. The food is amazing. It reminded me of the Italian food I had on my visit to Italy. We ordered the same dishes twice, because it was THAT good. Spaghetti alla Chitarra Pomodorini e Ricotta Salata and Ravioli al Sugo Rose. For dessert, the tiramisu is delicious. The only negative thing I have to say if you're looking for a very quite, intimate experience, this may not be your spot because the tables are very close to one another and two times I came here, there were 2 very loud tables where everyone in the restaurant could hear them. Our first night in Vancouver this trip, with no firm dinner plans but wanting Italian food, we called to see if we could make a reservation at Amici Miei. A table for two was all they had but all we needed. This is a great little restaurant seating only about 25 indoors and a few more on the front patio. We quickly discovered that it is a local favourite, which always bodes well. The pasta is made in house and is delicious - cooked to perfection. The chef creates new and unique items each day. We had a very nice Sunday Dinner at Amici Miei. A small very friendly place. The menu was simple but the preparation, service, timing of the courses was superb. The pasta was perfect, the salads and starters were thoughtful. This is a family place, and it works quite well. It is small so would suggest reservations if you want to go at popular dinner times. My family stopped in here for dinner after a long day of sight seeing. We were all exhausted. This was the perfect answer. The atmosphere was friendly. The food was delicious. Truly a great find near Stanley Park. The store fronts on this row are a bit unassuming. Don't be fooled. This is a treasure.

Een "ongecompliceerde, echte Italiaan". Eenvoudige inrichting wordt ruimschoots goed gemaakt door het heerlijke eten. Delen van gerechten is geen probleem. Wij zijn wat Italiaans eten betreft een beetje verwent maar dit was werkelijk heel erg goed. Wel reserveren want het zit snel vol.

Great atmosphere, very good service, good wine, superb food. 4 people in our party. We had pizza, spaghetti, prawns in cream sauce. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed dinner. Very convenient to our hotel. Short walk. I recommend this place and when back in Vancouver we WILL visit again.

Visted for dinner, and it was a nice meal though not spectacular. The caprese salad was fresh but lacking in flavour, The pasta was well prepared and tasty.

I stopped in for lunch and enjoyed the prosciutto pizza - very fresh ingredients, in the Italian style favouring simplicity and flavour. Lovely service.
