I visited here on the recommendation of a friend. The food was lovely and the one star does not reflect the food. What was very troubling for me is that I could hear a lady’s voice screaming at young employees. It wasn’t just a one off as this continued during the majority of my stay. The young employees looked uncomfortable and the man serving us kept disappearing to argue with the lady as I can only assume he was embarrassed. I have noticed AMICO is on indeed a lot because they obviously can not retain their staff. DO NOT let your children, nieces, nephews work here very toxic environment! I will never revisit here. There are other luxury cafes you can spend your money in the Bolton area.
I attended Amico today for some time to relax outside of the house. Waiting staff were very welcoming and accommodating and my food was lovely however my rating will not reflect this. The mood of my time here was interrupted by constant shouting from a lady in the kitchen in which I assume was management. She was verbally abusive to her staff and could be heard throughout the entire establishment. Management need to learn that their employees are what keep their cafe open, if there was nobody to cook and serve the food, there would be no business to have!!!!!!!! I will be sure that none of my family or friends ever apply for a job here and you should too!!!!!
Where do I even begin???????? Me and my friends came for some brunch a couple of weeks ago. I have seen many things within my 2 hours. Firstly, food took around 50 minutes to arrive. Secondly, the kitchen (the kitchen may need to get a door) was very loud and I overheard a female chef verbally abusing a TEENAGE waitress, this girl was lovely to me and table. Finally, lazy manager was constantly on his phone and always interrupted my order being taken. I can say I will not return.
I had an amazing experience at amico I will definitely be visiting again there was a really lovely girl working she was quite small with blonde hair and lashes she was so lovely and helped with everything down to making my decision she was very polite and super smiley made my experience extra special I shall definitely be visiting again I wish I would of gotten her name as she deserves praise for her customer service skills definitely made me feel welcome : thanks amico Reserva una mesa ahora
Amazing food….. I’ve been reading some negative reviews on here and I can honestly say. The staff here are not rude and go above and beyond to help you. The breakfast is one of the best I’ve had. And I can assure you I am the biggest fan of having a full English, anywhere I go to eat. Please ignore the terrible reviews. I read one review about a door being on the kitchen????? Very strange comment. Thank you guys for a wonderful afternoon. We will be back
management are very rude and don’t know customer service. I have first hand experienced the disgusting way they speak to YOUNG staff that they have chose to work at their restaurant. They target personal things about the staff just because the job “isn’t don’t properly” but nothing was wrong with the job. The food took 1 hour to arrive! And the chef in the kitchen is very loud downstairs.
Visited today after going to see The knive Angel in Bolton . To be truthful we don’t visit Bolton a lot due to lack of choice . It was so lovely to find this cafe . Delicious hot coffee this can be rare , friendly staff and treated myself to French toast and fruit , when I return to Bolton I will revisit z
After looking forward to their French toast I was very underwhelmed but the customer service was worse. I stood at the counter for quite some time before the server even acknowledged me and even then he was cursory rather than pleasant. Overpriced and very average. Reserva una mesa ahora
