Lovely surroundings, staff all really nice. Food was so nice, only downside was the teeny size of the fillet steak. Although we know it's a small cut of meat, it was possibly only 2 ounces in weight, which doesn't reflect the price. But would go again and order something else. Just seen response from the owner. Full points for subtle sarcasm! We were not advised the steak would shrink as it was well done, and the other steak was medium and just as small. Yes, we will have our needs satisfied with a mixed grill in another restaurant in future, thanks. found amigo’s by google reviews and not enjoy Mexican cuisine. we have booked online and exchanged some emails with the restaurant. the area is modern, beautifully furnished and well maintained. we had the patas bravas and the nachos to start. the dishes were placed with authentic aromen. they are warned, the proportions are large. this led to take some of our main meals home! the main thing were prawn tacos, burritos and enchiladas, which were delicious again. the service was incompatible with multiple check-ins, followed by long gaps. there were also some errors on our bill that were sorted immediately. a visit near ulverston. eating is the outstanding star of the show.
beautiful Mexican place, was asked to wait down while eating was cooked. - that was it. eating came well presented and hot. the chicken tasted nicely in the fajitas, just down through the Limp sauce, but still ate. must prescribe how to buy in food for the day to avoid waste. didbt see any Mexican
My experience at Amigos was fantastic from beginning to end. The service, drinks, and especially the food were all incredible. It was a wonderful birthday meal and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in Ulverston.
