My husband and I came on the first day of snow this year and fell in love with their autumn/winter-only dishes, Kadoo (braised lamb shank served in acorn squash) and Laboo (roasted beet salad in pomegranate basil sauce). The lamb shank was fork tender cooked in their amazing sauce. The beet salad was sweet and sour, very appetizing! Super friendly staff and the food is at the point. If you want traditional Persian flavors and dishes, this is the place. There are other Persian restaurants in North Virginia that have good quality food, but Amoo's has carved their own place. The prices are definitely reasonable. I took my fiancée on her birthday (it's her favorite restaurant and she's not even Iranian) and my bill was $45. My only complaint is that the restaurant is not big enough to accommodate guests all the time, but this is a good problem to have.

This place is amazing! Love medium Eastern food and have eaten a lot of caabob. This place takes the cake! The service was amazing and the lamb was the right one I ever tasted!
