Sadly, this restaurant falls short in the most crucial aspect: the food. Everything seemed promising—it had the right smell and appearance—but disappointingly lacked flavor. We ordered a tamale, which turned out to be almost entirely dry, flavorless masa. Instead of the barbacoa burrito we ordered, we received a chorizo burrito. While the chorizo had decent flavor, it was accompanied by some rather bland rice and an excessive amount of sauce on top. This might reflect certain authentic styles from parts of Mexico, but coming from a family with roots in Southern California and North Central Mexico, this wasn't what I expected. I also tried a ham and cheese empanada, and it tasted just like the ones I used to get at the corner bodegas back in North Jersey. I’m so grateful for this restaurant—it's authentically flavorful, and best of all, it's only a quick 15-minute drive instead of a long trek to Philadelphia. If you miss real authentic food, you'll understand what I'm saying. It was absolutely delicious. God bless everyone. I’ll definitely be back every week, no doubt about it. Ciao! P.S. OMG just moved to the area and this has the best Mexican food I have ever eaten. It is amazing. Spicy but not too spicy. Great margs and totally worth it. Highly recommend. I've visited this restaurant twice now, and the food is outstanding! You can really taste the freshness of the ingredients in every bite. Love this spot. The place is clean as a whistle and staff are super friendly and attentive. Food is speaks for itself. Been here half a dozen times always great. The Ceviche is the best I've had. Absolutely amazing! This is the best food I've had in a long time. The dishes were fresh, well-seasoned, authentic, and simply delicious! The service was excellent, and I've definitely added this spot to my must-visit list. I will definitely be returning! Food rating: 5/5.
