I was thrilled to discover another location of this restaurant, which saved me a long trip to Cerritos. Unfortunately, my excitement quickly faded into disappointment. I ordered a steak burrito, and my wife chose the red enchiladas. When I opened the box for my burrito, I immediately noticed grease oozing out. At first, I thought it was just from the bottom, but once I removed the paper, I realized the entire burrito was soaked in grease. It was wrapped so loosely that it started falling apart. I went with a street taco and an order of their quesabirria tacos.Quesabirria tacos with consomme $10 This comes with 2 birria tacos with melted cheese, grilled onions, red sauce and a consomme dip (the stewed beef drippings). Decided to try this place because they had high reviews for shrimp and Birria tacos. Small place, but I love the artwork on the walls. The promenade often has entertainment outside, so on the weekends there is more ambiance. We got there about 20 minutes before closing. The staff was very friendly and answered our questions. The food was made fresh and was still hot when we got home. Next time I want to eat it because I think the Birria tacos should be eaten right away. Urban Taqueria with a fresh and healthy twist. What sounds like a Chipotle rip off, doesn't describe even describe spot, it's much better. Their customer service is too notch, employees are friendly and so nice.We ordered the 3 Tacos de Papa, OG taqueria tacos with pollo and asada, and the asada burrito. All on point! Their sauce has a slight kick to it so it's spicy, but not overwhelmingly spicy where you can't taste your tongue.
SWEET BEANS! There must be a mistake... I ordered the LARGE taco salad?!? Do I get a t shirt or my picture on the wall if I finish?!In fairness it IS a salad. Mostly. I added carne asada. I like the dressing and it's the first taco salad I've ever felt good about finishing. Service was friendly and prompt. Price point was about where everything is nowadays.
Unfortunately, this restaurant is now closed! It's a shame because the food was good. However, a Brazilian restaurant is set to open in its place. In the meantime, you might want to check out their location in Long Beach.

It's their own fault! Charging for ketchup and having dishonest hours? Haha, the food was great, but the customer service was awful, and I always felt unwelcome during my visits.
The food was well served and fast. Tasted and looked good enough; ambiance was just ok.
