Not set in the most attractive part of London but they had a deal of the Day shepherds pie and you got apple crumble with custards for free. I do not know if they do deals of the day all the time I only ate here as I was passing. As per the title, it was a good fulfilling dinner and with the apple crumble it was great. A large cup of apple juice with ice on top and my bill came to £8.50. If I find myself in this area again I would eat again at this cafe. I can see they make a good effort to keep it clean but the toilets do let the place down a little, they could do with a little renovation and TLC.
I called in late in the day for an all-day breakfast and my order was taken quickly and politely. The food was served quickly and the meal was tasty and abundant, although perhaps they should get better grade sausages in. That small moan aside, this is an airy and large café, well-sited and with nice material adorning the walls and there are plenty of seats and tables. The prices are competitive and the menu clear and easy to read and the café is clean. Well done.

We were booked in at the nearby Eurotraveller Hotel in Amelia Street and needed somewhere for a cheap breakfast, Cafe House definitely fitted the bill. The cheery staff serve up an endless variety of breakfasty stuff, its well cooked, cheap and comes at you at pace which is handy if you are in a rush. Lovely coffee too, the place has a nice relaxed atmosphere so you can take your time if you have nothing to dash off for, cannot fault it!

Doesn't look anything special from the outside but this cafe offers a massive range of hot and cold food, to eat in or take away, and the quality of the stuff is really very good indeed. Much better than you might expect.
This pleasant and clean cafe in a busy thoroughfare has laminated menus and a wide range of meals available. I chose an all day breakfast which was politely served, tasted good and came with a lovely cup of coffee.
We ate here 3 times and it was a pleasant experience. Staff were friendly and food was served fast hot. Will definately eat here if we stay at Elephant Castle again. :
Here for a course, so was looking for a good, keto friendly breakfast….did not disappoint…superb omelette, great coffee and friendly, fast service…highly recommend.

FAR better than the pretentious place next door, these guys are salt of the earth. Really good food, great selection and fast efficient service.
Huge full English for around a fiver. Friendly staff, and it always seem to be open! The menu ranges from breakfast to a roast!
