AnaRosas has a warm, family-friendly atmosphere that feels like home. The owner is incredibly kind and clearly puts a lot of care into cooking the food. I’ve tried the Caldo Verde, burritos, crunchy tacos, traditional tacos, chicken soup, and the burrito topped with sauce, and each dish felt special. A nice touch is that they serve a small cup of beans with the chips while you wait, which is great if you're feeling hungry. Didn't get a chance to eat here because I was doing a door dash however The service from the moment I hit the door was beyond awesome and the smells hit you as soon as you hit the door. The gentleman who service everyone coming in was more thanknowledgeable about questions I asked and offered alternatives when I told him my daughter couldn't eat certain items! I will bereturning to give them a try! ????
I cannot recommend this place enough. It has that authentic homemade taste that reminds me of my mom's cooking. The bifstek ranchero was the best I've ever had, and the rice, beans, and handmade tortillas were all delicious. The staff is also super friendly. I love Mexican family style food when it's done right, and Ana Rosa's definitely does it right. They are a step above the rest.
The Ceviche is the best item on the menu, in my opinion. Its fresh authentic taste is the best around. Interestingly, it continues to retain top tier, regardless of who is preparing it. In other words, it has varied over the years but I have neverbeen disappointed.

The home made tortillas are the only good thing here. The food is mediocre. The chips salsa is used for everything, no green salsa. Alpastor has no authentic flavor. Bathroom are not taken care off. They are gross.
Should be called the breakfast, lunch, and dinner Burrito! That's a meal! great flavor, huge portion, good price. And yes their salsa is amazing (hot) but amazing. Ill be back!
The seafood was delicious, and for those looking for vegetarian options, there are broths, soups, and rajas poblanas available.
If you are around of San Leandro, I recommend visit this small place. We tried Camarones a la Diabla and Pupusas.

The Pollo Asado Tacos be smackin and you have to try them....just same a few for my next visit
Got some simple steak tacos but they were flavorful and the salsa was good.
