My husband planned a wonderful surprise dinner for our anniversary and emailed to reserve a dinner on a Wednesday night a month in advance. We got confirmation that it was all good. We were visiting the area and heard good things about this place so we were quite excited to visit. We arrived to the place and got VERY rude treatment from the owner himself. I was quite shocked when he told us they are closed on Tuesdays & Wednesdays. From such an established restaurant, why would they confirm a reservation when the place is closed. I was appalled how the owner just said quite rudely that it is not possible that they would confirm reservations on a closed night. We had the email for proof, not...
I'm a pleasure and love good kitchen. that means for me fresh ingredients of good quality, a creative preparation with crumbling and seasoning. a good wee, like regional, because we now have really good winzers, are just as friendly, attentive service and a relaxed atmosphere. an evening meal or lunch there is pure enjoyment with a good prise pampering aroma - even a fourth wein is put in the carafe cold and gifted.Klar has its price in proportion to the performance here very well. I can also cook gur, but if I go to eat it should be special.
we were allowed to start my mother here in the 81th year of life. the self-assembled menu sequence completely corresponded to our expectations in their individual courses. the little lovingly created greeted the whole thing. a special thanks to the restaurant / sommelierin. very attentive, competent and human, an extremely pleasant companion that perfected the evening. the interior is very high quality and stylishly furnished. the foods are visually and tastefully a true Gaumenschmauß. the service was professional and quick. You get a lot of "Drum-Herum" (2 amuse gueule, pre-dessert, etc.) all at very high level. a visit is worth tasting (unconditionally "wilder bienenstock passion", a festive one!)
not for every day, but if we are two or four with the family or wanting to eat eight fine, our 1st address is the turmberg with the special kitchen of S.Anders. no large menue, but great menue suggestions. In summer even more great when you can dine on the terrace and now also for between tower and restaurant.
