Andiamo was a mixed bag. I expected a quiet restful atmosphere, but there were children running around like they were in a playground in what was a very nice atmosphere for fine dining otherwise. Neither the parents nor the staff seemed to mind, but it lessened our dining experience. The server was very nice, but she disappeared for long periods of time. The food was also a mixed bag. My braised beef was excellent very tender with a very good reduction that had small bits of carrots and other vegetables. However, my wife's New York Strip, was the high end of moderately priced was terrible. It was very dry and tough. So overall, I cannot give Andiamo more than 3 stars.
Service was very good but food was low quality. I ordered a brick oven pizza that I was convinced was from the grocery freezer aisle. Bread was not fresh. Pesto tasted like tart lemon. Wine was 15-20 a glass for a 8.99 bottle in the store, and be assured that the ambiance didn’t make up for the mark up. Staff was constantly rearranging tables and chairs. Man next to us had to fold a piece of cardboard and put it under his table to balance it and keep it from rocking back and fourth. Sad experience for a 100$ meal.
Andiamo is located within the Hilton. Though this is an Italian restaurant, there is not much of the origin noticeble (music, painting). We were offered the table most near to the entrance. Not so cosy and in the middle of the cold breeze because of repeatedly opened doors to the outside. Our host did her utmost to make us comfortable. The salad was not great. The turkey (thanksgiving menu) and our desert were Fantastic. No, next time I would prefer more Italian like atmosphere.

Food was good Despite reservation there was a 45 min wait and even after we finally got seated we still had to wait 15 min to even get a glass of water. Excuse was shortage of staff on Valentine's Day! Also coffee came in paper cups from Stabucks (nothing against Starbucks) but they said they had no china left .... Server was nice and it wasn't even his area. Poor planning from restaurant !!!!
My husband had the rib eye it was perfectly done my husband is very picky! Great job to the chef! I had lasagna it was was also great. Service was very good attentive but not intrusive the whole experience was pleasurable! I will go back and I recommend this restaurant to everyone looking for a great Italian meal!
We came to Andiamo for Thanksgiving when we were in town. We were a party of 7 and they fit us in. I am gluten free and they were very accomodating. They baked me gluten free bread and had gluten free noodles as well. We were all very pleased with our meals!
I was overcharged $8 for my table’s 2 glasses of wine which were shown on menu as $12 per glass but charged $16 per glass. When I tried to come back and show my receipt the restaurant was closed. Feel sad as it was an expensive meal and I’d Tipped well.
