I’ve been a loyal customer of Andolini’s since they first opened on Cherry Street, and we recently started ordering through DoorDash. Unfortunately, our latest order was a huge disappointment. We got two pizzas for dinner, and both missed the mark. The promised “crispy” onion rings on the pizza were barely there, and what little remained was soggy. Even worse, both pizzas had an unpleasant old cheese smell that stayed on my fingers. I showed the pizza to my husband, and he looked at me with disgust, asking, “What’s wrong with this?”
Both pies arrived cold and soggy, and I honestly can’t remember being so let down by pizza before. I’m baffled that the manager allowed them to leave the kitch...
We usually go to the Cherry Street location, and I have to say this Riverwalk spot didn’t quite measure up. The place was almost empty when we visited, and the food didn’t match the quality we’re used to from Cherry Street. Our server was fantastic—truly a highlight of the experience—but the food fell a bit short this time. We’ll likely stick with the main location and pass on Riverwalk for now. The food still tasted okay, but the special five-day pepperoni pizza arrived a little cold in the center, and the gluten-free option seemed to lack flavor. Overall, I’d rate it like this: Service 5/5, Food quality 3/5, Ambiance 4/5, Price 3/5, Overall 4/5 for this visit.
We are completely hooked. My husband received a free slice at Mayfest after talking with the owner about his passion for pizza. Since then, we've ordered takeout twice, found the food truck once, and recently dined at the Jenks location. The staff were incredibly friendly, and although our server was new, she handled everything like a pro and did an amazing job! Every dish we've tried has been outstanding.
I dined here on a Tuesday night, arriving about 30 minutes before closing. Despite the impending closure, the staff I interacted with were genuinely friendly. The beer was cold, and the pizza was delicious. I give it a 5 out of 5 stars and will definitely return!
