Absolutely adorable old fashion atmosphere and great service . Seafood was wonderful , quality of meat was very food but tasteless . They should offer more sauces for the meats . Also read in some reviews about the “uncle Ben” style rice and freeze dried...veg which unfortunately I would have to agree with . It would be nice to have a fresh selection of veg like esparagus and spinach etc ... overall was a nice evening and we would go back . Just so not expect it to be a fine dining steak experience ..

Have never been here but had heard great things about it. We were impressed by the precautions they had taken with Covid. The server was.very pleasant, service was efficient but we did not feel rushed at all. We had soup to start then one prime...rib and a stroganoff. Everything was well prepared, delicious and the portions were large. This is an old style steak house and the decor is very fitting. Service was excellent, prices are reasonable and portions are great. I will go back again snd again.

Food was amazing! Service, not so much. Steak Diane was very neat to see being prepared, however had we not turned our backs to watch what was happening we would have had no idea it was our dish they were preparing! We get that they...do this all the time but it was our first time and we were very disappointed with the service! A smile and “your welcome” goes a long way! We would return for the amazing meal but the service needs improvement!

Neat place, older decor similar to visiting an old European/german style tavern. Food was ok, one of our dishes was ordered cooked to medium and was served rare but was quickly fixed. Portion sizes are large and meat quality is good but it's dissapointing to...be served boiled from frozen carrots as a side given the price of meals. Overall the experience was average. Recently returned for dinner here and was still a great meal. Seafood chowder, ceaser salad, shrimp cocktail, steak and ribs- all were great. Like having dinner in a steakhouse. A very dependable old style steakhouse experience.

An old place that needs some care, but the hosts make up the difference with their great service. Good food, a bit pricyC but the place is worth visiting.

If you are looking for a perfect prime rib this is the best for you I have travelled very extensively and senn them all my highest recommended restaurant

Excellent meal , best steak in Muskoka ! Atmosphere very dated , has not changed in ! Dining room needs some attention
