Das Restaurant Godewind befindet sich gegenüber des romantischen Mühlenparks der Inselhauptstadt Wyk mit Seerosenteich, bunten Blumenbeeten, hohen Sträuchern, Rosenbüschen, plätscherndem Brunnen , Musikpavillion an dem es öfters Livemusik gibt,und der hübschen Wyker Windmühle ein schönes Plätzchen zum entspannen und verweilen Wir nahmen im begrünten , mit großen Bäumen beschatteten Gartenrestaurant des Lokals platz. Denn wer mag schon drinnen sitzen, wenn man noch einige warmen Sonnenstrahlen am Abend abbekommen kann ? Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und zu unserem reservierten Tisch begleitet. The garden is beautifully laid, we got another table at 2:30. I ordered Rumpsteak for 27, € with shrimps. Steak was dead and hard like a shoe sole. The salad was poured over with a sweet, ready-made sauce. My wife got pork ends with pepper sauce : The pork end was dry, firm and tasteless, the sauce contained no peppercorn and was a thickened mass with bechamel, tasteless and clumpy. When we had to deny the question of whether it tasted, a meal was not calculated by the hostess. Possibly, in the Gode Wind kitchen staff are busy, who has no idea about cooking. We cannot recommend this place to eat.
Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Das Essen war sehr, sehr schmackhaft (Fleisch auf den Punkt gebraten), gute Getränkekarte neben den Standardgetränken wie Bier, Cola usw. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist stimmig. Auch über die Bedienung können wir keine schlechten Worte fallen lassen. Fazit: Es war ein gelungener Abend und wir wurden extrem satt und das nur mit einer Hauptspeise!!

We were very happy. The food was very, very tasty (meat roasted to the point), good drink card beside the standard drinks such as beer, cola etc. The price-performance ratio is consistent. We can't leave any bad words about the operation. Conclusion: It was a successful evening and we were extremely tired and only with a main dish!
Very nice and friendly service. I had the Godewind fish plate, my husband the Surf and Turf. The food is lonely tip. Bread potatoes to the point, not stubborn. Shells sooo delicious. The Rumpsteak very large for medium something to get through. Absolutely recommended. Unfortunately forget to take photos
We were in the fall with dog in Gode-Wind. We were kindly reserved a table where our little dog didn't bother anyone. We then enjoyed an excellent menu, among other things with very delicious mussels. The nice staff contributed to a great and harmonious evening.
