Local pub and restaurant near Aretha Franklin Amphitheatre always makes for a beautiful pre-concert. Come early enough and you can get street parking near the restaurant for the evening concert. Today we had a new waitress who bent backwards to make sure we had a great experience. Undoubtedly, she will blossom in a big waitress because she clearly took care of our culinary experience. A reservation was not really necessary, but it is always good to have one.

Hidden treasure! What a jewel of a local hotspot. For dinner and beer. Shrimp Perch Basket was a pleasure. Slightly broken, plump shrimps and generous cuts of freshwater pearl fried for perfection. With a Detroit brewed Cornerman Red Ale, I was not disappointed. The service is also personal and top notch. Luke gave us a pleasant conversation and wonderful local stories.

This place is an absolute jewel in the city of Detroit. Old school Detroit, great food, solid local craft beer selection and great waiting staff. Meet the owner and his family, great people. Have fun.

The staff was friendly and the food was really good. There were 5 in our party and everyone likes the food.

Our first time to visit the waitress was nice the cooks are excellent! Will always stop a point!
