Have been twice in recent weeks, once for a surprise birthday party using the space upstairs (canvas disappointed to find that upstairs we were being charged £8 per cocktail, however downstairs was 2 for £12! Cheeeeeky. On our second visit, we had booked to go see 'dua lipa ' being advised a day before that she had cancelled, by text message. We had a table booked for food for roughly 20 people also, so decided to still go for the meal. A lovely evening at andwhynot for New Year's Eve. Brilliant entertainment and fantastic table service. We paid for the gold service and wasn't let down. The meal was top quality. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly considering it's probably the one night of the year they don't want to be working. Only one criticism but it's aimed at the patrons rather than the venue. The people who stand and block the door to the toilets and then give you a vile look of discontent as you ask them to move to pass, stop being such inconsiderate selfish tw@ts and find somewhere else to stand.

Just amazing, what an amazing place. I had driven 150 miles for a meeting and it was a place that had been recommended and did not disappoint. Amazing service and the freshly prepared pizza was outstanding, in fact one of the nicest I have had in a very long time. The huge bowl of lovely fries did defeat me, but I did try very hard to get through them but they were the most generous bowl I have seen and not like the tiny bowls we get down South. Amazing staff, would recommend with 5 Stars, more if there was an option for them.

Me and the missus went on Sunday afternoon, just gone, for roast dinners. She had turkey and I had beef. Pink beef as it happens. Both dinners were absolutely delicious. The beef melted in your mouth. We said the same to the lovely waitress (or is it waiter now confused). She was courteous and couldn’t do enough for us throughout the dinner. We have been going to Andwhynot for years now and never have experienced bad food or bad service and that’s a fact. The place is great and the staff and management make it. Reserva una mesa ahora

Huge portions and taste really good so cannot complain about the food! Really nice setting and great environment! Only reason it isn't 5 stars is because we had to wait nearly an hour for the bill and then and to get up to pay for it as no one came to us with the bill...which isn't an issue but would like to have been told in advance that we had to get up to pay so that we wasn't sat around for ages!

Dinner with friends on Saturday was lovely, food was fantastic and our waitress Keighley was brilliant, perfect, in fact you should be giving go her a pay rise, she is an absolute asset to the business. My only grumble was it was extremely hot in the restaurant and a little dark for me. But will definitely be back, absolutely loved it!

Went to a pink tribute with the wife and friends and this place has hospitality down to a tee. The meal was fantastic and the staff were always around for more drinks orders. The venue is great. Very friendly staff and they have a wide variety of different acts planned throughout December and into the new year

Fantastic food and excellent friendly service. I’ve never had a meal here that wasn’t exceptional. On this occasion I ordered the steak and ale pie and it was the best pie I’ve ever had. The customer service received tonight, from both Joe and Liz, was amazing. I manage my own team. I will use both Liz and Joe’s responses to my queries tonight as an example of quality, empathy, patience, and understanding. Thank you both. Iain

Had late lunch on Thursday service outstanding, food brilliant, tasty and fresh. Superb quality dining in a great atmosphere. Wish I could give more than 5 stars for food and service.
