LEFT HUNGRY. I thought that maybe my bad experience was just an off night since it was a busy friday night, but based on similar recent reviews it seems like a trend. My boyfriend and I ordered a veggie burger Street tacos with 1 beer. The beer never came after about 10 minutes, another waitress walked by and we asked about it, and was told “oh yeah we were out of that one”, which is fine but the waitress didn’t think to come tell us? Our food took 50 minutes to get to the table. Understandable on a busy night, but a table of 4 arrived 15 minutes later than us got ALL of their food 10 minutes before us. This was my 3rd time at Andy Gavin’s and I do not recommend eating here. My girlfriend and I just went together and we waited for over 50 minutes for a burger and 2 fish tacos. Once they came both were flavorless and just okay. I had to ask multiple times for a beer, for which they finally told me after 10 minutes of back and forth that it was kicked. Our main waitress wasn’t the best and took forever or not at all to come back to our table. Outdoor seating was the only plus.
Googled Pet Friendly Restaurants in Scranton. It was the second place on the list. We were driving from Missouri to Connecticut and needed a pet friendly place to meet my 32 year old daughter and family for the first time. They were great about everything. So glad we went they treated our dogs like royalty. Food was excellent, superior serve. Great atmosphere. I would recommend anyone to dine or have a drink. Thank you for a great experience!
It 's definitely a place where you 'll wanna check off your, I gotta investigate this place. I didn 't get a chance to sample the food or drink, but for sure next time. It was a very inviting, friendly atmosphere, and had enough subtle happenings to keep you on your toes, and the staff that I encountered they couldn 't have been more accommodating. We will go back. This was so amaing! The food was not only good quality and ingredients, it was delicious. The wait staff were friendly and polite. The whole experience was delightful. Thank you so much for not overpricing either. We will be back!
This place is wonderful, great history, great staff. Daily half priced apps right when I get off work. How can ya beat that?! Staff is so friendly, they have live music nights, trivia, and just a good group of people
Wait time was horrible since there were only 6 people at the bar at lunchtime and nobody else ordered food..we waited for more than 50 minutes for 2 burger meals...really??? Shameful!!!.....not goin' there again.
Bartender had awful service. My drink was made wrong and she wouldn't here otherwise. Food was eh. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Stopped in with my 87 year old Mom for lunch. The food was great, service was quick and kind to my momma, and the place is clean!
