Had gone there with my mom. We shared an appetizer of ckans with sausage in it. They were very good. I had ordered a burger, hold the bread. They didn't hold the bread. But the burger was very good. I forget what my mom ordered, she said it was ok. Theservice was very good. I think every waitress in the place (4 maybe) stopped by to ask how everything was. It is an Italianrestaurant, so I would check the menu before going if you have dietary restrictions. I'm diabetic, so it was limited.
I stopped by for lunch and started with the fried calamari, which was incredibly tender and practically melted in my mouth. The highlight was definitely the wood-fired pizza topped with spicy soppressata and honey—absolutely fantastic! They also offer a great selection of draft beers, and the staff was very friendly. This has quickly become one of my favorite lunch spots!
Angelina's is our favorite restaurant in South Plainfield. The food is great and they are always really attentive with service. At times they will turn the music up so loud you can't have a conversation. We liked it before the renovation but haven't been back since. So, it's probably even better now.
I visited this restaurant before work to grab a bite to eat. The food and drinks are fairly priced. Although the restaurant was quite busy, which made the service a bit slow, I really enjoyed my meal. I ordered the penne vodka with chicken, and the portion size was generous and delicious. Had excellent pizza here. The beer tasted like the line needed a little cleaning but otherwise ok. The calamari was also not bad. Stuff was super friendly but the place was pretty noisy for being so small. Would want to come back for another try though.
The food was excellent, the prices were fair, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the Frank Sinatra music added a lovely touch to the experience. Reserva una mesa ahora
