Pizza 1970's Style....<br/ Call me nostalgic but I remember when a family size pizza could feed a family, when toppings were copious and without a hint of smokiness from the wood fired oven, and all for under $10. Angelo's produces such pizza albeit the price for the family is now $19.90. Firstly its not a wood fired pizza, and has never claimed that (unlike that tart Crust pizza), its just your bulk standard..feed your face..and I reckon tasty pizza. After experiencing excellent service and delicious food at Angelo's, I was taken aback to see such a low rating here. It seems that many of the negative reviews are older, and I've heard that the ownership has changed, which may explain the difference. I've ordered from Angelo's several times over the past year, and I've consistently received great service and meals. Once, when my food was mishandled by Uber Eats, I informed Angelo about it. Even though it wasn’t his responsibility, he went out of his way to personally deliver a replacement and upgraded pizza to me.
Pleasantly Surprised!. My partner and I decided to try this place on a whim one night. Don't let the slightly grungy exterior fool you, this place is great! We ordered a large Italian pizza and the toppings were fresh and plentiful and it was cooked to perfection. The crust was crispy and just the right amount of thickness. Absolutely delicious! Would highly recommend this place and we are looking forward to trying their other pizzas!
Angelo's pizza looked after our Xmas staff function very, very well. Dennis was a wonderful help and had the pizzas we requested ready on time. To make it better they were all delicious. He catered for all our needs and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. A lot of our staff live in the area and they will be back to Angelo's guaranteed after such a good experience. Thank you so much! Every time we visit this pizza shop, we are greeted with excellent service and consistently amazing food! The other day, we dropped by Angelo's after a tough day, and the main guy there treated us to a couple of complimentary drinks to lift our spirits. What a legend! Not only did he brighten our day, but he also gained two new loyal customers for life! I would definitely recommend this place!
