the scenery here is pleasant - red/black and quite striking. It's a good place to celebrate a birthday or meet with friends because it's a place where it's easy to stay for a while. It is dark and comfortable and welcoming. I visited a Saturday afternoon, a lot of families with children and I didn't want to stay. service was good but nothing special. the menu was very good, unusual choices. my salad was very good, large portion and arrived quickly. the wine was good and there was a good selection of wines. the restaurant is located on a beautiful square, so we chose to take a coffee instead of the restaurant. Passing this noon (24/1/24) for 3 take away dishes 2 pasta menu ,1 burger. Nothing to say, perfect and friendly welcome, very reasonable waiting time (we discussed glass of wine offered) and for dishes nothing to say it was very good! next time we eat on site.
We fell on this place during our visit to thionville after our car broke down. They had a very friendly English waitress, which is rare here. They also had menus in English. pizza was very good, beer was cold and prices were correct.
It's the best Italian restaurant I've eaten for a long time. I went there twice I tasted two different menus and both were very nice. the atmosphere is very relaxing and offers different options.

Stay nice in the centre but service is slow enough on noon in the week. Gratin of eggplant and parmesan, pretty good. Value price ratio a little high.

We went there for a family meeting we arrived at 11 without reservation and found the service very good and accommodating.
