Wow, what great pizza. This had to be on my top five list of pizza joints in Columbus. For the past six months I've been on a quest to find the best pizza in Columbus. Well, Ange's is now in my top five. 1. Tammy's 2. Tommy's 3. Ange's 4. Josie's 5. Little Sicily's I'm not done searching, but I've got to say Ange's has some dang good food. I got a X-Large Pep, extra cheese w/ half ham and bacon. It was perfect, sauce was just the right blend of spicy and sweet, the toppings were generous and fresh, and the overall bake was spot on. For being a relatively simple dish, there are so many aspects to love in pizza! So I have several 5 star places for pizza, and this is one of them. They have a solid sauce. Leans more savory than sweet. The crust is amazing: tender with just a little bite. I ask for mine to be well done for a perfect level of chewiness. The toppings are good and generous. They are a little more expensive, but there's often a coupon deal in the mail or online. They used to offer delivery, but they don't currently have the staff to do it. Give it a shot! I've only been to the Ange's in Hilliard.
The food here is good quality, so it's worth a visit. I ordered online and was told it would be ready in 35 minutes. I arrived on time, but my order seemed to be misplaced. However, I was offered a medium pizza instead of my small pizza, which was a nice gesture. After waiting an additional 20 minutes, I finally received my pizza, although it had been sitting in a box on top of the oven for about 5 to 10 minutes. The food is excellent, but the organization could definitely use some improvement.
Stromboli was awesome. Edit 8/26/2022: We've ordered a few times now, and if I could give them 10 stars, I would. Pizza is always perfectly cooked, and crispy. The pepperoni are well seasoned, and crispy as well. Perfect amount of cheese, and theperfect amount of sauce! We normally place a timed order, since we're picking up for our lunch at work. Stromboli is fantastic! On 8/26/2022, we placed several orders, and if I could give this place 10 stars, I absolutely would. The pizza is always perfectly cooked and crispy. The pepperoni is well-seasoned and also crispy. They use just the right amount of cheese and sauce! We usually place our order during lunchtime at work, and it's always on time, never seeming like it has been sitting around. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful.
The food is fantastic, and the staff are consistently polite. However, I did experience my first "Uh Oh" moment. When I got home, the pizza was a little overcooked—not burnt, just slightly overdone. My kids were pretty disappointed about it! I called the restaurant, and they gladly replaced my order with their typical friendly service. Unfortunately, we had to return the subpar pizza.
Great quality food, first off. I ordered online, told 35 minutes. I arrived on time, but my order was lost. That's fine, I was told I'd get a medium pizza instead of a small pizza, great. 20 or so minutes later I get my pizza AFTER it had been sitting ina box on top of the oven for 5 or 10 minutes. Great food, but their organization needs some work.
This is a perfect pizza. I am lucky that Ange?s is right around the corner. The price point is great, the service has always been friendly, and the food is great. My personal two wishes is that 1) they?d do flavored crusts and 2) they had house made ranch lol Reserva una mesa ahora
