We were visiting Trilingate a week ago, and decided to try this place for lunch based on its high rating. It totally exceeded our expectations. We were a group of 3 families. Our family ordered a 2-lb lobster meal, snow crabs and chicken nuggets. Lobster meal is a relatively simple dish, but they made it to perfection: perfect saltiness and perfect tenderness. The side garden salad was so fresh and tasty. The garlic butter dipping sauce did a great job of neutralizing the richness of the Lobster meat. The Lobster meal easily deserves a 6 star rating. We arrived at 5:30 PM and managed to beat the crowd, securing one of the eight tables inside. The waitstaff was very attentive and helpful in the charmingly decorated dining room. They clearly put a lot of effort into creating truly exceptional dishes. We ordered the Seafood Chowder, four Fish Cakes, and the Lobster Salad Kaiser for our main course. Wow! Wow! We almost missed it. We were directed here for dinner on our last night in town but we arrived after they were closing : We stopped for lunch the next day on our way out of Twillingate and popped in just as they were opening : Absolutely amazing seafood chowder and scallops best ever . We ordered lobster rolls to go for the road and we had to force ourselves not to dig into them before even getting out of the parking lot. HIGHLY recommended. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious, all at a reasonable price, and the staff were exceptionally friendly! We ordered a seafood chowder, a crab meat Kaiser sandwich, and a fish cake set, and every single dish was absolutely amazing. The chowder was packed with more seafood than broth, and the crab meat sandwich was the best I’ve ever had. I'm writing this review three days after our visit to Doyle’s, and my mouth is watering just thinking about how good it was. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The seafood here is incredibly fresh. The fish and chips may be simple, but they're absolutely delicious. We really enjoyed the chowder as well, along with the overall atmosphere of the place. There are numerous little details that make it a joy to visit. We even got a tour of how lobsters are caught and stored, and there are a few jokes that are sure to make you smile while you're there. Come with a big appetite and enjoy!

Such an incredibly charming seaside cafe serving delectable treats from ocean. There are many gluten options so my wife was able to enjoy a GF lobster roll. The fish cam is lots of fun to watch as well. Friendly staff in a quirky, comfortable atmosphere. Reserva una mesa ahora

Great out of the way place, beautiful view friendly staff. Worth every penny, affordable lobster dinner with the works! The seafood chowder was so good that we came back the next day to buy two servings for our road trip back to St. John’s

This is a great out of the way seafood restaurant, worth the drive. Great fresh food at a reasonable price. There is outside seating with a wonderful view. It is a cash only restaurant but they have an ATM on premises.
