We wondered where we could find high quality beef in Montpellier and stumbled across Angus et Bacchus, on a small side street, near the main thoroughfare of the Grand Rue Jean Moulin, which intersects with the Rue des Loges, which in turn is right off the Place de la Comédie. In other words, easy to find, if a little off the beaten path. The old world architecture and quiet atmosphere was just what we were in the mood for, and the combination of three different kinds of grilled steaks really hit the spot, served as they were with fresh vegetables and salad. There's a good wine selection here as well, and the women who run the place seem very comfortable in their milieu. We'll be back!

A really cozy place in a small alley, we were told about this when we sat on les bulles saint roch, and enjoyed a glass of champagne. It is watered in my mouth now that I write this review :) it was so good, we started with a carpaccio that was deliciously good then we took a chateaubriand, perfect fried, juicy and mother, and to that we asked for another wine that they had to choose, the wine fit perfectly. the staff were super nice and we understood each other fine even though they couldn’t be so much English and we didn’t so much French. the dessert, a caféur goman, also the dessert was great.

come with 2 friends who like me, love good meat and good wines. this restaurant deserves its name! I have rarely eaten so good meats (we traded tips with my friends) and I have rarely seen such a beautiful wine map. The service is irreproachable, the 2 ladies who hold the restaurant are very kind, smiling and good advice. I'll go back!A single flat, in case of high temperature, it's better to be ready for air conditioning at the entrance, otherwise the rest of the room is too hot.

an exciting place in the heart of the Montpellier. charming staff with humour, who was able to respond very friendlyly to my opening remarks that I was vegetarian, with a reference to the door and a goodbye. A restaurant that is quite to my taste. They know their meat. good wines, though a little too little natural wines. but even that was excellent. Thank you for a wonderful evening. We have lunch with my friends a weekday. The service is fast. The meat is of quality and the presentation of the dishes is treated. the most I think is a wine map with references essentially of the tonguedoc roussillon. If you're an amateur you're going to love, and for the uninitiated you can't be mistaken.

I chose tartare the bouf. Nothing to notice. Meat of good quality. Accompanied ingredients to mix themselves with reasonably sober presented. fries were made in some kind of oil. The taste reminded me of something sweet from the fair. I've had to wait long before I was noticed. Appreciated price was correct.

welcome and service quick and friendly. It's a little expensive, but the meat is very good, tender, well-respected cooking. The accompaniment is in quantity. The frame is very nice.
