We were advised this was the pick of the numerous Indian restaurants around town, but leave with mixed emotions On one hand, the Butter Chicken was rich with flavour and the Tikka Masala was authentic and so well cooked. Additionally, the traditional Indian ice cream (more of a frozen flakey texture than creamy for those who haven't tried it) flavours of mango, pistachio and coconut were very enjoyable to finish off the night There were negatives, though. Not enough rice for two people, atmosphere was a little dull, service was initially good but the girl who took our table over was in a rush to get home it took her 15 minutes to clean our plates, then bought out our dessert when we...read m...

After a few disappointing meals in Hobart and a lot of expensive options, we decided to scale it back and try something a bit more casual after seeing quite a few diners in the window We opted for the Raja Banquet. To start we had lamb cutlets, prawns and a fried chickpea fritter. These came with a fresh mint condiment. We inhaled it. The lamb was tender and juicy and full of flavor. Same goes for the prawns. The fritter was a great vegetarian addition Next came way more curries than our bellies could handle. Then a basket of naan. And a mountain of rice. We were full just looking at it. Butter chicken was creamy and rich, vegetable korma was the hero with bags of flavour and...read more

Went here because we were new in Hobart and was looking for Asian cuisine after 9 PM. And we weren't disappointed We got the Butter Chicken (well seasoned, spicy, a bit too sweet, but overall very delicious) and the Roganjosh (very tender, hot and intense). We ordered the Butter Naan and it was satisfying. I even ordered for seconds Atmosphere were very Indian; warm and reddish. It was dim but it makes you focus on your plate. Service was decent, better than what I would expect for late night dinner In summary, when you crave asian/indian in Hobart after 9PM, Annapurna is always a good decision.

the butter chicken tastes too sweet for my pleasure. the naanbrot tastes good; the same standard as my favorite Indian restaurant in melbourne. tipp: if you order butter huh, it comes with rice (which I did not know before my order). if they are like me, I don't eat rice with butter huhn, maybe they ask them if they can swallow the rice with the naanbrot, as this could lower the cost. her naan brot is quite expensive at $3 for the level a $4.5 for the cheese garlic. total price for what on the photos. 1 butter huh, 1 simple naan brot, 1 garlauch naan brot costs $24.40 Reserva una mesa ahora

this is our Indian restaurant in hobart. eating is always good (and well portioned) and the service is always friendly. I enjoy that many of their curries order so hot, medium and mild, as our family enjoys the dings somewhat spicier than the average Australian palate, and their hot is actually hot (in contrast to many places where hot means easy spicier than bland). it is not a good food, but for a small, local Indian restaurant it is fantastic!

Eat: 4star personal : 5star ambience : 4star best they can expect in tasmania as suggested by my taxi driver and in which it turned out to be the best. from the last 3 days it was our hearts (my and my family) to win, the hope that the same in our next trip.

Bad tasting, and definitely not an authentic Indian restaurant. And for sure will not recommend anyone to visit this for food especially when hungry . Bad staff except the one decent guy who served us.

Great selection of food for a large group including children and vegans. Everyone was satisfied. A little disappointed in the lamb chops but otherwise great food. We took lots home with us. Reserva una mesa ahora
