General On Sunday we went to sixth a nice trip to Glückstadt. It is finally Matjezeit and Glückstadt seemed to be a worthwhile destination. On the market of Glückstadt you will find some restaurants that all have similar menus. Matjes was offered everywhere. In the Anno 1617 we found a large table outside the restaurant, which was protected from rain with a large umbrella. Operators welcomed us, then there were the first menus with the indication that cards today were shortware. I had the worst food on a Sunday with Raumann. It was at the shell time. My wife and I ordered us mussels in broth with bread. The bread was as old and dry as if it had collected my grandma for the chickens. In my mussels there was no meat, I haven't seen anything yet, the meat sticked from inside to the shells as if the shells were exploded. The hotel didn't go. We had the Suit for 139 euros and it was terrible. Very small, very low, shower is nix for big people, under the roof and therefore much too warm and no air conditioning. Windows could only be opened conditionally and then the noise from the marketplace was there. The hammer came the next morning, the price goes without breakfast! Then we learned the bill. The concierge did not consider it necessary to inform us. We like to be in Glückstadt, but last time from this hotel.

By summer 2016 my absolute favorite restaurant in Glückstadt. Since unfortunately no longer opened in the day-to-day business. It's a shame because you don't get such good goat cheese salad in Glückstadt.
