Another Broken Egg Cafe

We sat outside because one of our party had a small dog with her. Cafe was very busy, as expected late on a Sunday morning. Older hostsess lady was probably the friendliest hostess I 've ever encountered. She was constantly working the front of house, made everyone feel very welcome. Service otherwise was good, could have been a little better but I understand they were very busy and was already getting pretty hot out... I wouldn 't have wanted to be running tables . I had the Mardi Gras omelette with grits, wife had the biscuit egg sandwich with grits. Omelette for the description very well, loaded with crawfish, shrimp, and andouille sausage smothered in gravy. We’ve been coming here for over a decade now. Unfortunately the QUALITY of the food has decreased significantly. Today, we ordered two omelettes, both of which were made with MAYBE 2 eggs, and each were extremely thin and missing key ingredients (ie. cream cheese in the Floridian). We could not believe the little portion size of the omelettes and that no one inspected them before being served. This, after the typical 30-minute wait for a table you now have to pay to park, makes it simply not worth it. The Toasted Mango Cafe is NOW our #1 breakfast spot on the key.

Amazing spot! We stopped in before we headed out at the end of our trip and were so glad we did!! One of the best orders of French toast mr boyfriend and I have ever had!! I wanted to steal his dish lol. I got the salmon benedict that was surprisingly seasoned very well. We both loved our food we’re so excited to find out this restaurant has plenty of locations within the south!! We’re from Virginia actually have a location here so we will definitely be trying that one out and hopefully their food will be just as good!

Liked that you could sit out on the patio. Our server was nice. I ordered scrambled eggs and a side of fruit. Food was ‘ok.’ The fresh fruit wasn’t really fresh. The eggs were fine. We did order a side of beignets but they were overdone/stale. If you sit near the railing beware of the corn hole games below it’s loud and can be distracting. Overall, it’s an ok place. We were looking for a beach adventure so I searched for breakfast places out on Siesta Key and found Another Broken Egg Cafe. We got there around 8 and were able to be seated on the patio right away. I had the Cinnamon Roll French Toast and my mother had the Sunrise Spinach Scramble. Both were very tasty. It felt like I was on vacation, at the beach! Lovely!

When visiting Siesta Key, at least one breakfast is reserved for Another Broken Egg. Siesta Key is a favorite family vacation location and we have been to ABE many times and they have never let us down. Parking can be hard but worth the effort. I typically eat Eggs Benedict. Food and location/atmosphere are awesome.

We had a late breakfast here today and enjoyed it very much. Service was the standout beside the food our waitress was perfect. We would definitely go back! Eggs Benedict and the cinnamon bun French toast was excellent! Very friendly staff!

I eat here when I visit Siesta Keys. They have really good breakfast. I tried the Lemon Blueberry Goat cheese pancakes and they were fantastic. Service was great and there was no waiting for 6 of us. Reserva una mesa ahora

The food was so good we went back twice. The atmosphere was nice. Nice staff and seated quickly. Best bacon I’ve ever had.
